Bad day? Perhaps. The night is young and the night is full and the night is bright acid-green outside your window, but you don't pay it any heed as you rest your weary head and close your eyes.

You open them once again.

Lucid dreams - some people have them all the time, some do not. Some wish for that control over dreams, some do not and shy away from it. But here you are, in a dream that you know is a dream, and reality holds no power over here in your own mind.

And around that corner, behind that lamppost, outside that door - you can just catch a glimpse of blue hair and white wings, and a single fleeting moment of overwhelming loss.
